INTRO BIODIVERSITY

Torre Escribana comprises 1 hectare of land in the municipality of Zaragoza. Surrounded by other ancient towers that once fed the nearby city but mainly besieged by monoculture fields of alfalfa, corn and barley.

Except for small refuge corridors for fauna and flora that make up the different ditches and paths, Torre Escribana is located in a desert of biodiversity with its own ecosystem. To find a purely wild area we have to travel 6km to the Villamayor mountains and 5km to the banks of the Gállego.

By introducing different species of trees, shrubs and flowers, we intend to create a true oasis of biodiversity by attracting auxiliary fauna to this space of land that we have had to take care of.
